Why is the Forum so meaningful and successful? The Forum is different. All events are highly interactive, with the time shared between the facilitators and you, the participants. The employee health management (EHM) experts do not lecture on “what you should do”, but instead they use an interactive approach to help you learn “how to do it”. During the discussions, the participants have time to share their experiences, reaction, critique, questions, and answers. Another thing that makes the Forum different is that you are a participant in the highly respected and coveted C. Everett Koop National Health Awards ceremony. Dr Koop is a national icon, whom you can meet. Following are the Forum core events.

(AEHM) As the employee health management (EHM) industry expands in acceptance and accountability, the need for a well-organized, member driven, and benefits rich professional association becomes increasingly acute. This need has been addressed by the creation of the HERO Association for Employee Health Management (AEHM). For well over two years, HERO has devoted considerable time and efforts to the development of the AEHM. As part of this process, HERO extends a Public Invitation to Comment. From July 21st to August 15th, you are invited to provide critique, thoughts, and recommendations for the AEHM. For more background and information, click on the HERO AEHM link. To share your input, click on the AEHM Comments link. The HERO Employee Health Management Best Practice Scorecard (Scorecard) The identification of employee health management benchmarks and the determination of best practice is becoming increasingly important. At the 2006 Forum, Version One of the HERO Employee Health management Best Practice Scorecard (Scorecard) was released. The Scorecard is a self-administered instrument that allows you to establish employee health management benchmarks and determine best practice for your program. One year later, Version Two was made available. A PDF version of the Scorecard Version Two can be downloaded and printed by clicking on the Scorecard link. In addition to the PDF version, you are also provided with an Online Evaluation Scorecard which is intended for research and evaluation purposes. You can provide your program information and receive an aggregate report. Instructions for using the Online Scorecard are provided.
