HERO Forum Think Tank
Mission and Strategy
The HERO Forum Think Tank mission is to move employee health management
forward as a widely accepted and accurately measured strategy to enhance
employee health, and there-by, control health care costs. To accomplish this
mission, the following of strategies have been activated:
- Create, test, and validate new financial and related metrics that resonate with senior corporate
executives (i.e. – how does the financial impact and health show up on the bottom line or
balance sheet?).
- Facilitate, on a regular schedule, employee health management Best
Practice Workshops that showcase the most mature, successful, and data-rich programs.
- Develop, evaluate and create national consensus
for employee health management definitions and standards.
The oversight for these efforts is provided through the HERO Forum Think Tank
membership. There are HERO Forum Think Tank meetings every February and September. Each meeting is one and one-half days in duration, and
includes 2-4 Best Practice Workshops and adequate time for a wide variety of Think Tank business. To enhance the education-networking opportunities, there is a reception
and sit-down dinner, along with a stimulating after dinner program. The HERO Forum
think Tank
is a quantum leap forward in creating an environment where
Corporate and Stakeholder (provider) members interact on a broad agenda to enhance the
effectiveness, acceptance and documented impact of employee health management.
